Mighty Kerkeslin | Wabasso Lake

Mighty Kerkeslin | Wabasso Lake Working at Wabasso Lake yesterday was a great opportunity to shoot the Mountain Peaks and wildlife from a different angle. At this vantage point Kerkeslins mountain face is wider and more defined by the fresh snowfall. Share with friends & family! New Road | Canadian Rockies

New Road | Canadian Rockies After 3 years of photographing in the Rockies, I’ve decided focus on trails less traveled. I’m going to renew my spirit by capturing the wild from vantage points that the vast majority of people never get to see. My work in the backcountry will inevitably get more difficult with off-trail hiking so it’s time to get some new safety gear! Here’s another beautiful view of Dragon Peak | Athabasca River Valley   Share with friends & family! […]

The peak itself is one of many that make up the Catacomb Mountain range, now with white puffy clouds and blue skies the opportunity to photograph Dragon Peak from different angles throughout the day was wonderful. This photo was one of many that had me thinking I’ll be back next fall. Get Out And Explore! Info:Google […]

Roche De Smet | Jasper National Park

Roche De Smet | Jasper National Park Roche de Smet was named in 1896 after Pierre-Jean De Smet. In the spring of 1846, De Smet began his return following the established York Factory Express trade route to the Columbia District. He headed west to Jasper House, and with considerable suffering followed the route; crossing the Great Divide by Athabasca Pass, to the Canoe River, the north-most tributary of the Columbia River, and eventually onto Fort Vancouver some one thousand miles […]

Cloud 9 | Tonquin Valley

Deep in the backcountry of Jasper National Park, I had just completed a 24 km hike with a 60lb pack. With the temperatures plummeting, and muscles sore only the magnificent views could keep me from my tent and much needed sleep. Dusk was settling in and I thought to myself “is this my utopia?” Parks Canada Info: www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/ab/jasper/activ/ap-bc/sugg-sentiers_trip-ideas/Tonquin.aspx Share with friends & family!
